Before your massage
Your therapist should ask you if you have any injuries or pain that they should know about. Also, if you have any particular problem areas that may be bothering you. All massages are therapeutic and professional. Please understand that the therapists are not trained physicians and cannot diagnose any problem. You may always speak with Dr. Eskew about any questions you may have.
During the massage
We encourage you to communicate to your therapist about how the massage is going. For example, please let your therapist know if the pressure is sufficient. They are not mind-readers and can give you a much better massage if you let them know how you are feeling
When the session is over
Be sure to let your therapist know if you felt the massage was benificial. It's helpful to the therapist know what you liked or disliked. Therapists are independent contractors and do not receive promotions or other compensation. If you are pleased with the massage, a tip is always very much appreciated. Also, please remember to drink a lot of water after your massage. This will help relieve any soreness and assist in flushing toxins out of the muscles.
Your next appointment
If you do not have a particular therapist in mind, please be very clear about the kind of massage you would like, i.e. firm or deeper pressure. That way we can book your next appointment accordingly.
If you feel you're going to be a little late to your appointment, a phone call is always appreciated. If you're late and the therapist has someone else scheduled after you, you will be expected to pay for the hour even though your time may be shortened.
If you need to cancel and/or reschedule, please call the office 24 hours prior to your reserved appointment time. Your appointment time is "reserved" especially for you. Ample cancellation time will allow us to try to fill this time slot with another appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
Please be sure to tell your friends about your experience. A great massage is something to give as a gift or pass on the word about. Your friends and family will thank you, and so will our therapists!
